NEL Network Engineering Ltd., a division of the NEL Group Inc., is a highly specialized boutique engineering firm with expertise in telecommunications network infrastructure planning and design. Founded in 1980, NEL’s areas of specialization are planning and designing commercial and residential fibre optic and coaxial networks, including RF plans and drawings, fibre splicing plans, civil and municipal permit drawings, CORE/Headend design, and other engineering consulting services.  Over the past 40 years, NEL has primarily focused on a plethora of network connectivity projects, in both the private and public sectors, in Canada and around the world.

Permit and survey work includes coordination and review with municipalities and utility companies. All engineering drawings are prepared according to utility standards and specifications and approved by professional engineers, complying with ESA 22/04 and CSA overhead and underground systems.
